Create Your Own Job

ATTENTION: Unemployed? Underemployed? Hate Your Job? Sending out resumes with no luck? Unemployment checks running out?

“Stop waiting for someone to GIVE you a job and… CREATE your OWN job!”

There are hidden opportunities all around you, BUT…
I’ll tell you how to find them!

Here’s the thing nobody tells you when you’re unemployed or stuck in a job you hate: you don’t have to wait for someone else to hand you a paycheck. You can create a job. Not “start a business” in the traditional, write a 30 page plan, beg a bank for a loan kind of way. I mean actually create a job, one that’s built around a problem you can solve, a skill you already have, or a gap you noticed that nobody else bothered to fill.

I know this works bc I’ve done it more times than I can count. After I got fired from my last “real” job, I created my own gigs from scratch. No resume. No interview. And no HR dept giving me the runaround. Some of the jobs I made up for myself:

– $500 a night working coat check at a fancy restaurant
– $2,500 a month as a corporate publicist, working 4 days a month
– $2,500 a month just to be on call as a spokesperson
– Hanging out with celebs at Cannes and making six figures a year doing it
– $200 a day reading scripts
– $40 an hour transcribing

None of those jobs existed until I created them. Nobody posted them on Indeed. I just noticed something people needed and made myself the answer.

What Creating a Job Actually Means

Let’s get one thing straight. Creating a job isn’t the same as starting a business, at least not the way most people picture it. You don’t need a business plan, investors, a fancy logo, or a storefront. You need a problem, a solution, and one person willing to pay you for it. That’s it. That’s the whole formula.

Most people get stuck bc they’re trained to look for jobs instead of create them. They update their resume, scroll job boards, and wait for someone to post an opening that fits. But some of the best income opportunities never show up on a job board bc they’re hidden inside everyday problems and frustrations. If you want to see this idea play out in a real, kind of wild story, check out [how a guy turned a squatter nightmare into a whole business](https://createforcash.com/create-a-job-by-solving-a-problem-nobody-else-wants-to-touch/).

Create a Job vs Start a Business

People use these terms like they’re the same thing, but they’re not, and mixing them up is what stops most people before they even try. Starting a business usually means legal structure, overhead, maybe employees, and a plan for scaling. Creating a job means you and one client (or a handful of them) agreeing that you’ll solve something for money. You can absolutely grow a created job into a full biz later if you want to. But you don’t have to start there, and honestly, most people shouldn’t. Read the full breakdown: [create a job vs start a business, what’s the real diff](#).

You Don’t Need Money, a Degree, or Experience

I built my first business (the wrist water bottle, aka Swiggies) with zero manufacturing background and not much cash. I made a ton of mistakes and figured it out by doing, not by sitting in a classroom. That’s true for almost every job I’ve ever created for myself. You learn the skill on the job, not before it.

If you’re worried you don’t have the right resume for this, good news, resumes are irrelevant here. Nobody’s asking for your credentials when you’re the one solving their problem. For the full playbook on this, read [how to create a job with no money, degree, or experience](#).

Signs You’re Ready to Create Your Own Job

Not everyone’s in the same spot, and that’s fine. But there are some common signs people are ready to stop applying and start creating:

– You’re tired of rejection from jobs you didn’t even want
– You keep noticing the same complaint from friends, family, or strangers
– You have a skill that nobody’s asked you to formalize into a “job title” yet
– You’d rather work 10 hours for the right person than 40 for the wrong company

If any of that sounds familiar, check out [signs you’re ready to create a job instead of applying for one](#).

Start Small, Start This Weekend

You don’t need a perfect plan before you start. You need one person with a problem and a willingness to test your fix on them. That’s the whole first step. I’ve got a simple guide that walks through it here: [create a job in a weekend, a simple first step guide](#).

Why This Matters More Now Than Ever

The job market isn’t getting friendlier anytime soon. Layoffs happen without warning, and waiting around for security from an employer is a gamble most people can’t afford anymore. Creating your own job means you’re never fully dependent on one company’s decision to keep you around. You become your own job security.

If you want to go deeper on that side of things (how to actually build a life where layoffs don’t scare you anymore) that’s a whole topic on its own. Start here: [job security for life, why it doesn’t come from a job anymore](#).

Ready to Actually Do This?

This isn’t theory. It’s the exact method I’ve used to create job after job for myself, and it’s what I teach in my course, Create Your Own Job. Not a course on writing business plans or chasing investors. But a straightforward way to figure out the right path and pick the one that fits you right now.

Start with whichever piece of this feels closest to your situation, then work through the rest. You don’t need permission to create a job. You just need to start noticing the problems already sitting in front of you.

More than 45% of all unemployed workers have been unemployed for more than 6 months. Job security is a thing of the past. What this means to you is…

… you need to start thinking like an entrepreneur.

The good news is that there are opportunities all around you! There were opportunities even during the Great Depression. You just need to know how to look for them. They’re not going to come looking for you.

And — you’re not going to find them on a job board. But, this is going to require a new way of thinking. You’re going to have to wipe the slate clean of the typical way of becoming employed. “Go to college…draft a resume…submit it online…cross your fingers and hope it works”. If that actually works for you, then you don’t need this webinar. But if you want to try a new way of thinking, a new way of working, a new way to make sure you are never, ever unemployed again, then read on.

HIRE YOURSELF

Creating your own job means no more resumes, no interviews, and no rejection.

“I wish I had used these techniques two years ago…”” I have always wanted to “be my own boss”, and had a lot of good ideas, but lacked the motivation to do anything with them. Julie has given me new inspiration to get started! Her webinar provided the encouragement and organizational helps that I was lacking. She even offered new ideas that I had not thought of before. She has inspired me to “get moving” instead of just talking about it.”Ashley R.

“Enjoyable and thought provoking…”

Julie Austin’s job seminar offers a unique perspective in terms of going about finding meaningful employment. That is, that the more one is in the “driver’s seat”, the better the chance of getting a position that is satisfying in a personal way, as opposed to settling for one that is ready made for everyone and no one in particular. Enjoyable and thought provoking, with an entertaining slide presentation.

“The material in Julie’s seminar is golden!”

” If you’re unemployed or want to make sure you never are, you have to get this course. It has advice you won’t find anywhere else. I highly recommend “Create Your Own Job” to anyone who wants a lifetime of job security.

Create your own job webinar

I want to help as many people as I can … so this webinar is priced so that anyone can afford it. At $37, you can’t afford NOT to do it. Just compare:

  • It’s about the price of a dinner and movie date, but it will help you create a source of money to pay for your NEXT date.
  • It’s not much more than the cost of a tank of gas, but with no source of income, gas won’t take you as far as creating a future for yourself.
  • It’s less than the cost of a resume consulting service. Only you won’t need a resume to hire yourself.

Here’s what you’ll learn in the “Create Your Own Job” webinar:

    • The 3 ways to guarantee you will never be unemployed again … with more work than you can handle, even in the worst economy
    • How to create a job or jobs specifically designed just for you
    • The 2 jobs everyone should always have, even if you work for someone else
    • How to get other people to create jobs for you

What this ISN’T:

This is NOT a webinar on how to start a business. It’s not about writing business plans or raising venture capital or mortgaging your home to lease commercial space and start a company.

What this IS:

A unique, one of a kind class that will teach you how to create original jobs that are specifically tailored just for you, NOW … with whatever you have to work with.

It sells out quickly, so don’t hesitate. Don’t let your unemployment run out and don’t spend another day in a job you hate. Take action NOW.
